This theme doesn't have to be confined to a summer wedding either. Beat the winter blues by using for a winter wedding; just find a location with a large room so you have a space that is light and airy opulent ballrooms would be a step too far with this scheme
The sleeves and skirt length should be decided on the basis of your build and bone structure. If you are heavier on bottom and thinner on top then enhance your top with pouf sleeves, lace overlays and padded shoulders. Whereas the bottom heaviness can be hidden by full, controlled skirt with no fullness. In case your top is heavier and bottom is narrow then do the opposite. Keep the top half simple and bare so as to avoid any more heaviness in the look whereas full skirt will look good on narrow bottom.
Have your guests entertained with a steel band. They will create the laidback feel of the Caribbean and get your guests in the party mood.
